How much are Kirkwood Village HOA dues?
Dues are currently $120 per month. The schedule for each year is published on the Resources page.
How do I pay my dues?
Three ways. By mail to Kirkwood Village HOA, P.O. Box 23094, Lexington, KY 40523. In person or by mail to Assurance Realty, 3320 Clays Mill Road, #108, Lexington, KY 40503, M-F 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a drop box available 24 hours a day. Or automatically, by completing the ACH Debit Authorization Form. Full details are on the Contact Us page.
Who should the check be made out to?
Make the check payable to Villages of Kirkwood Homeowners Association, and please include your unit number on the check.
What do my dues pay for?
Exterior structure maintenance and repairs (excluding cosmetic cleaning), roofs, grounds maintenance, snow removal, the parking area and roads, exterior lighting, and insurance for the exterior property. The full split is on the At-A-Glance page.

What do I do with items too large for the dumpster?
Call LexCall 311 to schedule removal. Waste Management picks up furniture and appliances that do not fit in the dumpster free of charge, and you can also submit a request online through the LexCall website.
Where does household garbage go?
Garbage must be placed in a dumpster and not left on porches or patios.
What are the rules about pet waste?
Animal waste must be collected and thrown into a dumpster.
Where can I put my grill?
Grills must face the court yards and be kept away from the siding. If you cause melting of the siding, you will be responsible for the cost of repair.

What color can I paint my front door?
Slate Tile (SW7624) or Rookwood Red (SW2802) — owner’s choice. Exterior door trim is Sandbar (SW7547). All are Sherwin Williams colors, and major paint stores including Lowes and Home Depot can mix them if provided the number. See the swatches.
What are the rules for replacement windows and storm doors?
Replacement windows must match the existing color — light almond or white. Front window grids must match the community; back window grids are the owner’s choice to have or not. Storm doors are white.
Can I build a fence or change my landscaping?
Contact the property management or HOA before you begin, to make sure your plans fall within the guidelines set forth in the Covenants.
Can I install a security camera?
Doorbell cameras are treated separately. Any other camera placed on the exterior of the unit should adhere to the KV Security Camera Policy and have written approval from the HOA Board of Directors.
What repairs am I responsible for?
Any repairs relating to the inside of your townhome, your doors and windows, your patio area, and insurance for the interior and contents of your townhome.
